Tomb Raider Legend Summary

Tomb Raider: Legend marks a return to the drawing board. The butt of many jokes over the years, Crystal Dynamics has managed to pull together a sequel that plays better than most people would have ever imagined for a game in the Tomb Raider series. Legend plays tighter and faster which puts the player more in control, and unlike previous Tomb Raider games, makes it a breeze to maneuver Lara through dangerous environments and fire-fights.

Legend is a pleasant mixture between action and puzzle
-solving in such exotic locations as Bolivia, Japan, Peru, Kazakhstan, Nepal, and Africa. Although, the game is criticized for being a bit too easy due to the unnecessarily verbose hints the game gives you frequently in the form of walkie-talkie conversation and movies that highlight specific objectives in areas as you enter them, those shortcomings shouldn’t deter you. If you were ever a fan of the earlier Tomb Raider games or ever wanted to be Indiana Jones, then I assure you that there's more good than bad to be had in this pleasantly exotic romp.

Tomb Raider: Legend is available for PC, Xbox360, Gamecube, and Playstation 2. Also, a sequel in the same vein, Tomb Raider: Anniversary is due to be released in Summer 2007.
