Battlefield 2 is the second in the Battlefield franchise by Electronic Arts. This particular first person shooter takes place in a modern day warfare environment, with strong emphasis on team strategy whether it be single player or multiplayer. The single player allows up to 15 AI (Aritificial Intelligence) generated players, and multiplayer can have up to 64 players on a single map.

There are varied kits to choose from, each with it's specific abilities. For insatnce, the Spec Ops is a deadly units which is armed with C4 and accurate machine guns. They can sabotage enemy equipment, making it easier for your team to win. The medic is a somewhat weak unit, but has the ability to revive dead teammates for a certain amount of time, as well as being able to heal them before thye become critically wounded.

You fight in skirmish matches. Your objective is to eliminate the enemy, whether you do that by taking their bases so they can't spawn or jsut killing them off so they have no reinforcements left.

There are now expansion packs for Battlefield 2 to make the game even more fun and endulging. It is recommended you download the demo first, which allows you to play a singleplayer map and the same map as multiplayer.
