Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Dark Messiah Might Magic Summary
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, developed by Arkane Studios, uses the Source Engine (Valve Software) to create virtual physics allowing an immersive and interesting environment that the player can distort and control. Using a First Person perspective similar to the Doom series, Dark Messiah focuses mainly on action while gaining experience that the player uses to customize their character to fit a wide variety of play styles through three distinct skill paths; Combat, Magic and Stealth.
Single Player in Dark Messiah follows the adventures of Sareth, apprentice of Phenrig the Wizard, who directs him through the first portion of his journey to retrieve a crystal for an important task.
Multiplayer, developed by Kuju Entertainment, features Battlefield type game play which allows players to choose from multiple free servers in one of three game modes using one of five classes. Warfare, similar to conquest mode in Battlefield games, allows two teams of sixteen players to battle for control of the map using a limited number of respawn tickets with whoever controls both battle keeps or has tickets remaining wins. Crusade is a constant struggle and campaign to control enemy territory. Each time a side wins, they advance into another area of enemy territory which is more heavily defended until one side controls all territory. Colosseum allows players to fight each other one-on-one in front of an audience of other players; the audience is allowed to make wagers using their experience points as currency.
