ID Software outdoes themselves again with the release of Doom 3, roughly 10 years after the release of the first Doom. Aside from being the third Doom, one of the most exciting aspects of the game are the graphics. At the time Doom 3 was released, it was the first game to take a leap beyond all other current first person shooters. John Carmack developed a revolutionary new graphics engine which provided for an awesome gameplay adventure.

The year is 2145 and the UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation) is based on Mars. You take control of a space marine and it is your job to fight through a demon invested environment. Research being conducted on the base is to blame for the literal hell that has broken loose.
