fable2 Summary
Fable 2 is an upcoming sequel from Lionhead Studios, and Peter Molyneoux, "the creative mind". This game take place 500 years after the original Fable game, in an age that is completely different from most of the fantasy role-playing games. The golden age of heroes ended, you must get a name in a new age of highwaymen, guns, and steel. Just like in the first game, you start to play with a kid, and later became the greatest hero, or a terrible tyrann.
Molyneoux said there will be three big improvement since the original Fable. One of them is the ability to let your hero have a dog. That doesn't sound as a big thing, but this thing is really detailed, the dog is almost as important in the game as the hero. It is also growing up, levelling, and becames good or evil. The second improvement is the ability to have a child. He/she will share the genes of the mother, and yours too, and will follow you on your path of good, or.... guess what! Evil, of course. The third big improvement is such a big thing, than Peter didn't even want to tell what is it, however it is plausible than it is special fighting dinamics based on AI movement.
There are also other, less important improvements, for example the ability to play with a woman character, or to buy anything in the game if you have enough money. Towns, castles, even empires.
