Fallout 3 is the much-anticipated third installment to the cult classic Fallout series originally developed by Interplay. Not much is known at this time aside from the developer and some promotional concept art being let out weekly to hype up the soon-to-be-released teaser trailer.

This iteration of the series is being developed by Bethesda Softworks who are best known for their Elder Scrolls series. Fans are split as to whether or not this is a good thing. Much of the worry is about the significant differences between the two. Typically Fallout games are post-apocalyptic adventure games starring a versatile Christ-like loner character, bloody deaths, turn-based combat, and intelligently written dialogue.

It's impossible at this point to know whether or not Fallout 3 will hold up, but in the opinion of most level-headed people, some new Fallout is better than no new Fallout.

The Fallout 3 teaser trailer is scheduled for release on June 5th. Us vault dwellers will know more then.
