Loki Summary
Not unlike Diablo, Loki is a hack 'n slash dungeon crawler. Loki fuses Norse, Egyptian, Greek, and Aztec mythology into one epic campaign. The storyline follows Seth, god of chaos and destruction, as he seeks to regain his power after breaking free from the bonds foist upon him by those who defeated him in Egypt eons before. This time Seth has a new ability with which to rain terror upon the world. He can jump between mythologies at will with you, the player, hot on his heels. Seth must be stopped before he fully regains his power.
Throughout the game players will defeat fabled beasts, meet classic heroes, and even take part in historical battles. The game also features randomly generated dungeons and levels, over 200 different skills, and over 100,000 different items. And when you’re finished with the single-player campaign you’ll be able to hop online to participate in four game modes – Co-op, Duel, Battle, Challenge, and Ladder.
Loki is being developed by Cyanide studios as a PC exclusive set for release in Europe this June with the United States expected in the future, but not yet announced. Loki is surely one to be on the look-out for this summer.
