Last year, Neverwinter Nights 2 was released to good reviews, except for all the bugginess and problems with the camera. Patches released, and some good story telling ensued. The first sequel to the RPG is Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer.

The expansion begins at the end of the original game. You can continue to play with the character you completed it with, or start anew(with experience points to help you out.) Taking place in the Forgotten Realms land known as Rashemen, the game boasts an assortment of new quests, gear, new enemies, and environments. New races and sub classes(which remain to be named) are on the board, and even room for better prestige classes.

Obsidian Entertainment has also said that they want to work on the games visuals, including shading, lighting, and general improvements.

No promises of NPC group members causing five alarm fires, or smart ass remarks.
