Age of Empires III: Asian Dynasties is the upcoming second expansion pack for Age of Empires III, created by Ensemble Studios. The first expansion, Age of Empires III: War Chiefs, allowed the player to experience the viewpoint of the native Americans. This new expansion follows the tradition of giving players the ability to learn about foreign cultures and history by including new units, new campaigns, and three new civilizations from the 15th to 19th centuries of the Far East.

As well as single-player improvements, Asian Dynasties will give players many more online features. Ensemble Studios has planned for a regular update schedule to give players new multiplayer maps, and cities will be much more customizable in terms of their names, colors, and wall material. This expansion also includes a new online experience point system that will allow you to grow stronger as you battle your friends online.

Age of Empires III: Asian Dynasties is set for a PC release in the Fall.
