Starcraft 2 Summary

Starcraft 2 is the newest project from Blizzard Entertainment and the 3D sequel to the best-selling real-time 2D strategy game, Starcraft. Currently the game is still in pre-alpha development, and so it is difficult to know specific details about the final version.  One thing that is known -  Blizzard is sticking to the basics of what made the original Starcraft a hit around the world. The Terran, Protoss, and Zerg races have been confirmed, and Blizzard has denied any plans to include additional races. From the screenshots and videos released so far, the sequel looks to retain the colorful art style and fast pace of the original game while adding unique and interesting gameplay elements to the mix.

Starcraft 2 is in development for Windows XP and Vista, as well as for Mac OS X.
