FIFA 07 Summary

With the 2006 World Cup over, many top players such as Rooney and Ronaldinho have gone into EA Sports' Fifa 07 with hopes to earn some fancy new silverware. Then again, Rooney may not be on your team, and Ronaldinho may have been signed up to Westham United, but you've got the duty to work your team up the league as they progress, improve and, more importantly, win.

You have the ability to control your team's destiny, whether they stay in the lower leagues, or attempt to compete in the higher leagues.

Possibly the most exciting feature is the new online mode, where you can pit your team against other peoples in special leagues. You play your games according to real game schedules. When France play in the real world, France play online. Now you really fight for your clubs glory through the football pitch.

The new AI system makes sure your 11 men on the pitch make realistic decisions, such as breaking from the wing when the central-fields empty, or aiding the defence when the tables have turned on you.

Even more realistic are the player fees and wages in the club manager mode. No longer does Beckham cost fish & chips, now you pay a realistic price for the realistic players, both in nature and in graphics... though it is a bit hard to keep up with Beckham's hairstyle, so don't expect that to be accurate.
